I’ve been meditating, doing yoga and diving into information about spirituality and personal development for most of my life. I have a lot of experience, been to a lot classes, workshops and have taught both yoga and meditation. After my husband and dad died within days of each other I embarked on a journey through loss and grief. I experienced first-hand how meditation, compassion and non-judgment helped me through this most difficult time of my life. I also realized that loss in its many different forms is something we all deal with at some point in our lives. Whether it’s through a relationship break-up, job loss, miscarriage or something else, having tools that help you navigate loss and then rebuild is important.
My goal is to share the tools that have helped me come out the other side of loss. Like all of our experiences, loss and grief change us and our perception of life. Embracing the crazy messy pain, beauty, strength and grace that loss brought me let me rebuild my life in a very positive way. We are changed by loss and grief but we can also rise up out of its aftermath stronger, more grounded and full of gratitude for the life we lead.
